Vice-Directorate in Charge of Doctoral Studies, Scientific Research and Technological Development, Innovation and Promotion of Entrepreneurship
Vice-Directorate in Charge of Doctoral Studies, Scientific Research and Technological Development, Innovation and Promotion of Entrepreneurship is one of the three auxiliary directorates of the École Normale Supérieure Assia Djebar in Constantine, and it includes three departments:
- Department of Third Cycle Training
- Department of Follow-up and Evaluation of Research Activities
- Department of Innovation and Promotion of Partnership
The main missions of this vice-directorate are:
- Following-up matters related to postdoctoral training and ensuring the implementation of existing regulations in that field.
- Following-up the activities of research units and laboratories.
- Monitoring research activities, research units and laboratories and preparing yearly reports on research results.
- Responding to the needs of companies and national institutions in the field of scientific research and technological development.
- Monitoring and managing the institution’s Scientific Board and safeguarding its archives.
- Taking initiatives for the sake of promoting exchange and mutual aid with other higher education institutions in the field of teaching and research.
- Monitoring training programs and improving the level of teachers by means of upgrades, and ensuring consistency between programs.

1/Department of Third Cycle Training :
This Department is responsible for the follow up of all matters related to the functioning of postdoctoral training.
Its main missions are to organize and follow-up doctoral training in science and L.M.D and to ensure the implementation of the regulations related in that field (L.M.D third cycle).

2/Department of Follow-up and Evaluation of Research Activities :
In congruence with the policy of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, one of the major interests of the ENSC is the pursuit of scientific research activities, the evaluation of their results, the organization of scientific conferences and the creation and follow-up of scientific journals (PRFU).
The missions of this department consist of acting as a catalyst and promoter of scientific research in order to obtain the best results.
The department performs the following tasks:
- Follow-up of research activities in laboratories and research units.
- Contribution to the promotion and revitalization of the institution’s research policy.
- Enhancement of research findings.
- Collection and dissemination of information about the school's research activities.

3/Department of Innovation and Promotion of Entrepreneurship :
The Department of Innovation and Promotion of Entrepreneurship was created as one of the services of Doctoral Training, Scientific Research, Technological Development and Innovation Vice-Directorate by a joint ministerial decision dated February 25, 2018. This decision delineates the administrative organization of the ENSC and the nature and organization of its technical interests, mainly in article 04, which aims to support scientific research of students and teachers through scientific activities and events that highlight the role of creativity and contribute to economic life.
The missions of this Department consist of:
- Promoting and developing innovation and entrepreneurship.
- Promoting the entrepreneurship spirit among students.
- Motivating students to undertake entrepreneurial activity in order to carry out value-added projects that reflect their ideas.
- Empowering young academics to develop their creations.
- Contributing to the development of the national economy.
