Presentation

     The Department of Philosophy at the École Normale Supérieures Constantine was established by a ministerial decision during the academic year 2011-2012, after it was incorporated into what was called the “Department of History, Geography and Philosophy” established in 1999.

    The department is responsible for the training of student-teachers of secondary education specializing in philosophy from different Wilayas of the East and South of Algeria. During the five years period of training, the student-teachers receive an academic and pedagogical training that culminates at the end of the fifth year with a practical training in which they practice the teaching profession in secondary schools.
